Sacraments Religious Formation Community Life

Baptisms:

On the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 1:00 PM Mass.

Instructions required for parents and sponsors.

Call the parish office to make arrangements.


Confessions:

After all Masses on the last Sunday of each month, and at any time when the parish office is open.

 

First Communion:

Baptism and Confession are needed prior to receiving First Communion. Preparatory classes must be taken to recieve this sacrament.

Baptism, Confession, and First Communion are needed prior to making a Confirmation of faith. Preparatory classes must be taken to recieve this sacrament.

Marriage:

The bride or groom must be a registered, active, and contributing member at least four months before filling out a request for marriage. Both bride and groom must also be baptized.

The request for marriage must be at least six months before the wedding date.

 

Family Faith Formation:

Sundays, from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM. Sessions are offered in English or Spanish.

 

RCIA & RCIY:

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Youth. Sessions are offered in English or Spanish.

Quince Años:

Quinceañeras may take place only during the 5:00 PM Mass on the second Saturday of the month.

Several girls, even boys, can dedicate themselves to Jesus at the Mass.

The family must be registered, active, and using the donation envelopes for at least six months before asking about a quinceañera celebration.

The girl or boy must be in Catholic School or active in the religious education program.

 

Tepeyac Westside:

An institute of Adult Faith Formation, sponsored by Our Lady of Guadalupe & Oblate School of Theology.

A play about the shepherds' journey to Bethlehem to adore the Christ Child. Join this long-standing parish tradition!

Practice begins in August. Performances run from December through February.
